Chuseok 2022 is a time for family, friends and feasting. It is a time to give thanks for the harvest and to remember ancestors. On this day, people wear their best clothes, visit family graves and enjoy special foods. For many, the highlight of Chuseok is the food. Families prepare traditional dishes such as songpyeon (rice cakes), jeon (pancakes), and galbi (marinated beef ribs). These are enjoyed with drinks such as soju and makgeolli.
